Awesome place of worship
Mt. Zion Baptist Church (MZBC) in Havre De Grace, MD is a great worship center to be part of. We're growing in numbers, with currently around 650 members. This is a great place for military personnel in transition since we are located need APG. I look forward to moving to our new church in Aberdeen. There are so many ministries to take part in. The best part, we have a Bible Institute called, Mt. Zion Bible Institute. It is open to the public and would love more churches to get involved. At this time, we are the only bible institute in Harford County. The next closes is Baltimore Bible College.

I love Mt Zion, it's the best bible teaching church I've ever attended. I'm so glad that I became a member. The pastor is absolutely fabulous!
Not a pleasant church, people were often judgmental and rude. I'm in my mid 20s now but I went here when I was a teenager. My experience was not what I was expecting from a Christian place. I was teased and made fun of in vacation Bible school. There was never any adult supervision, only when they were teaching a class. People were just unnecessarily mean. Being a black homeschooled kid who liked rock music made me the target of ridicule, for I was seen as being "different," which I guess in their eyes is a bad thing. The principle of Christianity is to love everybody, and they never practiced that in my opinion. I've been looking for another church ever since then, what happened to me ruined my desire to go here.
