Coakleys is a great local pub in the heart of historical HavredeGrace. Great food. Decent prices.
Menu looked great, we ordered the chicken breast with lumpcrab,bacon and cheese. Both our plates came lukewarm. My fries were cold. Waitress said very little and never asked how the food was or how we were doing. And brought our bill before we even finished or first half of our sandwich! If the food came hot it would've been tasty.but the bill being plopped on the table was the kicker!and upon arriving we asked a couple people waiting to get seated how the food was and they said the food was good but the sevice was not so good.we should've took the warning.
1st place I visit when I'm back in Havre de Grace.. Love the owners and staff. Always good specials. Always yummy food. Always great service from a great staff..
Popped into Coakley's for dinner while on a little getaway to Havre De Grace. Ordered the seafood nachos which were amazing. My husband ordered the Chesapeake flatbread which he said was good. I had the clam strips which were great... However, the ranch fries we both ordered were mediocre at best, the coleslaw was room temperature, and the tartar sauce was tastless. The service was great and the place itself was well decorated and welcoming. Will certainly give it another chance the next time we're in town.
Great food and great service! It's a small establishment so be prepared to spend a little bit of time here but it is certainly worth the wait. The experience here was amazing!
