Outstanding service. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. I've had lunch and dinner here with no complaints what so ever.
Well this is a high-end restaurant, with a very beautiful view of the Bay. And when warm enough live music out on the deck. I believe they still have live bands on the inside near the other bar where you can still eat and drink. Boaters and visitors visiting historic Havre de Grace, love this area because there must be at least 5 bars all within five blocks and many shops
Cozy restaurant, in the quaint town of Havre De Grace over looking the river. Excellent menu with a wide variety of choices. The crab cakes are very good; but, the stuffed flounder is my favorite.
Located in the historic district of the town. It's been a local and tourist favorite. Food is delicious and the service 1st class. A must place for lunch or dinner.
We have visited MacGregor's on several occasions, for lunch and dinner. Our most recent visit was exceptional and the lunch fare was absolutely delicious.
We were immediately greeted with a smile by the barmaid, who kindly directed us to the dining room entrance for lunch. Our wait staff was extremely courteous and attentive, checking back with us to assist and offer any additional needs. We were also greeted at our table with a smile, by the assistant General Manager, Stephanie, who was very well dressed, professional, and who was checking throughout to greet customers and introduce herself. MacGregor's is, and has always been a very well-designed, clean, and interestingly decorated place. Restrooms are always very clean.
Food was luke warm at best. Steak was under cooked. Hostess didn’t even seat us. Asked whether we wanted to be inside or out in November when it was 40 degrees and the outside tables weren’t set or lit or heated. When we said inside she just said pick wherever just as two other guests were coming in as well so it was crowded and awkward.
We would highly recommend this beautiful, spacious establishment, and take advantage of the serene waterfront view dining from their lower inside dining level, or their very well kept, clean outdoor dining area. Great job to all at MacGregor's.....and thanks again to Stephanie!!
