Tydings Park is a little bit of a bunch of things. There's the marina. There's the grill. There's the riverfront boardwalk. The historical monuments. The gazebo / band stand. And there is the children's play area. Each is nice enough by themself, and they may not seem to tie together, but as a central hub for a small-town community, it works and works _well._
the kids beg to go here all the time when the weather is nice. its arguably the best local playground, and has a great view of the river, the bay, beautiful trees, picnic tables, and the boardwalk. Gotta hit the Promenade Grill for a bite & enjoy eating on the deck when the weather's nice. Great place for all ages.

This place is beautiful... You have the water you have a beautiful view but most of all you have peace and quiet you can take a walk if you want to the lighthouse and I've taken that walk many of times since they built that Promenade and it is just such a beautiful view definitely worth the visit..
