Clean, well run, deep in the woods, just how I like my camping. We stayed in a cabin which was well maintained and clean. The electricity was a nice touch so we could set up a monitor for our kids. The rest of my extended family stayed in tents, the ground was flat and big enough to setup.
It is the best. I️ love it my family loves it. What a great place.
Unfortunately we did not see much of the overall park as we were using this space as a half way point to other events.
Great place to hike and trail run. A lot of historic buildings and info around the park. The park has trails of varying difficultly. There is a very nice trail that goes from the dam through the park along the river. The posted maps can be a bit confusing in some places. Overall very nice park.
Have been coming to Susquehanna State Park for years and still haven't walked all the trails. We LOVE coming here! There is a great "swimming hole" plus many areas to swim privately when the water level is high enough. There are events year round to enjoy with the family or by yourself.
Our second visit here and it keeps getting better. We were able to tour the mansion and the mill this time, along with a nice hike in the woods to see the falls and other natural beauty. Love this place.
